I had the pleasure of talking about skin, sun safety, and skin cancer early detection with Mr. Dodrill's Health Class at Centerburg High School today. This is exactly where SKNLUV needs to be, these kids are of ages 14-18, where skin cancer is most common. I was encouraged to watch these students begin to look at their skin and think about what a good mole looks like and what a bad mole looks like, and letting them know what a tan really is - your skin trying to protect itself. Over 50 students know the consequences of tanning and overexposure to the sun. We are grateful for the opportunity to educate these students - now they can spread awareness!
